WAAC volunteers planted 3 acres of trees in the first year of their Forested Riparian Buffer Initiative.
Harrisburg Area Community College students assisted WAAC in planting trees along a local stream.
After 4 volunteer workdays, over 500 trees, shelters, tree stakes, and bird netting was installed along two local streams.
After the annual stream cleanup, members and friends met for a relaxing picnic hosted by the Kellett Family. Some fish stories may have been told.
